LEEPRENEW

About Us

Our mission is to develop, manufacture, and license for use sustainable products and to design, build and operate production facilities incorporating our licensed patented processes

Our patented technologies separate MSW streams into biogenic and non-biogenic fractions and create new high-value renewable fuels and construction byproducts, while reclaiming 100% of the metals and glass.  We are Agile Engineering through this Market opportunity, converting the Wett Biogenic fraction of MSW into Biogas and Biosolids, using a Plug flow Anaerobic Digestion process design by Eisenmann.  The fractionated non-biogenic Mixed Waste Plastic, recognized as 17% of the discard waste stream, is converted into an engineered aggregate for use in Green Ready Mix Concrete.  Balkrete Aggregates replace scoria, expanded shale, perlite and vermiculite in the lightweight concrete aggregate category, produced locally from sustainable MSW discards.   The finished weight of structural Ready Mix Concrete drops from 150 pounds per cubic foot to less than 100 pounds per cubic foot, while improving thermal and acoustic performance by 300%. In addition we reclaim 100% of the high value metals and glass.

We have assembled a team of business development professionals, engineers and scientists, on a performance basis, to bring this nascent currently scaled kit to market.  Our Business Model continues to trend into multi-channel, multi-revenue streams.  Our Direct Customer Development practice is to provide the Resource Recovery benefits every Municipality and Private entity in control of this sustainable resource (MSW) requires, who need to  solve a piece of the MSW problem.  With Anaerobic Digestion getting traction in the EPC-compliant market opportunities for the Wet Fraction (putrescibles, and compostables), a syngas process to produce CHP and/or CNG for transportation fuels for Public Works fleets, the Economic Benefits of participating in LEEP Solid Waste Reduction Methods for the biomass and non-biogenic waste plastic fractions are clear.

In 14 years with Tate, Mr. Blacklin was awarded four US Patents and made significant contributions to improving the product line while reducing the manufacturing costs.  As the Director of Engineering, Mr. Blacklin and his team integrated competitive products into the Tate line while significantly reducing the manufacturing costs and improving the quality.  This product and process reengineering allowed Tate to become the world’s largest manufacturer of access flooring systems.  During this time Mr. Blacklin participated in the Executive MBA program at Loyola College in Baltimore, earning his MBA in 1984.

CEMCOM Research Associates, a materials development organization, acquired the services of Mr. Blacklin in 1994 and he headed the completion of a large production run of blast attenuation blocks for the US Navy to house explosives, on time and under budget.  The project required Mr. Blacklin to step in and lead a team at the pre-casting facility in Ohio for 10 weeks, developing rapid tooling required for the project, facilitated by the installation of 3D CAD engineering coupled to CNC machining.

Why do we need LEEP Renewables?

LEEP has green technology that will dramatically reduce waste going to the landfill today, and would be going to a transfer station to be shipped to a landfill in the future.
